The ELC members would like to wish Stuart Beaton a happy retirement from our committee.
Stuart has stepped away to focus on family and to enjoy his new grandchild.
In Stuart’s own words, “the experience has been very robust and edifying indeed.”
“Perhaps the greatest takeaway from the ELC that I have is having the opportunity to meet lots of very bright, interesting, and committed folks around the issue. That alone made the experience worthwhile.”
Stuart brought great wisdom to our team, especially with the fisheries. His quick wit and quotes often gave us a smile.
Stuart will continue to be briefed on our updates and hopes to join a meeting when possible.
