Community Leaders Chat with the ELC

The ELC reached out and invited the Warden and all Mayors in the Pictou County area to come and chat with us.

Thank you to the following community leaders who took the time to engage in dialogue with the ELC committee.

• Nancy Dicks – Mayor of New Glasgow
• Danny MacGillivray – Mayor of Stellarton
• Lennie White – Mayor of Westville
• Robert Parker – Warden of the Municipality of Pictou County

The conversation was respectful and thoughtful and gave the ELC members a deeper insight into the history and concerns of these communities with regards to Northern pulp.

It is through these conversations that we hope trust can be built.
